Dearth of the specially trained officers and employees is faced by all the government and semi-government departments and offices. When India is marching towards the “Vishwa Guru” status and striving hard for economic, industrial, agricultural, scientific and technological excellence, we need to motivate, inspire and guide our brilliant, inquisitive, goal oriented youth for careers in civil services.

Particularly students from the rural and semi-urban areas are not aware of the opportunities in the civil services. They lack in guidance, mentoring, counselling and training from the experts. Well equipped libraries, study centers, computer facilities, training material, practice sessions are not easily available in the villages and the towns. Encouraging learning environment cannot be provided in the homes. Even parents are not aware of the courses and the opportunities in the civil services. The talent in the rural and semi-urban areas remains dormant, unused and cannot be brought in the mainstream in the Nation Building.

“Centre for Competitive Examinations for Administrative Excellence” promoted by Shikshan Mandal, Karad, is a structured educational hub to offer facilities and amenities for nurturing students – girls and boys – for excelling in competitive examinations.
